The bad: overdrives pretty much sound the same, and they aren't great. They don't sound much like the pedals they are supposed to emulate ( which is what I bought this unit to do). They tend to be weak, or way over the top, without a good mid-range drive in the group ( used with a Gibson SG). The wah pedal is just a joke. I'm not really sure why they bothered. It probably has the smallest range of any wah I've ever seen. And the "voice" setting on pedal just sounds bad. I don't even like to ever hear it. The compression ( on left pedal) is completely inadequate, and robs an enormous amount of output when used ( they all rob some, but this is, I'd say, a 25% sound reduction when used) The Expression pedal defaults to a volume control. It also offers toe-switch engaged settings for Wah, Voice (a voice-box sound), and octave up or down Whammy effects. In addition, you can choose to use it to control your modulation rate or delay wet/dry mix. the compressor section is better too since 3 compression rglages and autowah who walk not bad at all.

Also, the speed of modulation and delay effects can be controlled from the expression pedal, which is a useful extra function to have, especially if you decide to add an optional extra expression pedal. I love the possibility to put the batteries, plug in headphones, take my guitar and go play outside in a field in front of a nice view.

it is intended to be a multi play on an amp 90% of the time, which is set in minutes and can cover almost all situations, from funk to death metal!

the distortion: very little in the end compared to other MFX ... 10 ... but all well and used without problems (I do not know where does the previous review), even at high volume it sounds good . AUX IN: 22k ohms Nominal Output Level -10 dBu Output Impedance 2k ohms Display 7 segments, 2 digits LED Power Supply DC 9 V Dry Batteries (R6/LR6(AA) type) x 6 With a choice of six main amp types modelled in the preamp section, you can quite easily run the ME-70 directly into a PA, mixer or soundcard. However, if you decide to plug into your favourite guitar amp and use the ME-70 purely for its effects, it's easy to turn off the preamp module. Certainly it is digital, so those who have the habit of his "lamp" will necessarily be disappointed with the amp simulations. I myself no longer used for a long time. But other effects are very usable and in all styles of music you can imagine or create. Not only was there a lot of effects on offer, but also they are all of good quality (at least in the ear of a beginner or an uninformed listener). This is a pedal that I find very generous for the price (even new!) Because it opens up a whole world of possibilities. I use it for three years now (if not more!) And I consider under any circumstances to part with.

the wah is nice, above my expectations in fact, as I never expect anything of this wah on multi ... It is this delay in the modulation section so it can be used when the looper (which is in part the delay) is active, saw boss =) ... the settings are a little smaller though. Have not been a hardcore Boss pedal fan (been buying pedals since 1969)but I must admit I like the design idea of semi-programmable stompbox format. PEDAL FX (Pedal Effect): WAH, VOICE, +1 OCTAVE, -1 OCTAVE, MOD RATE Nominal Input Level GUITAR INPUT: -10 dBu

We can have fun with all available effects and discover her to refine her. And unlike zoom effects, we do not like playing with modeled effects, but with effects that sound "real" and with which we can play live. One thing we like is that the preamp module hasn't been lumped together with the distortion models. It's nice to be able to mix and match amps and pedals, and this really opens up the choice of overdriven sounds; although the Marshall and Boogie amp models are particularly suited to this sort of thing, we found some great tones by adding distortion to the clean amp model. After use is quite fun is provided: We all front panel controls what is practical and fast! You turn it changes. Not being a pro, I like it. I did not find much "my ultimate sound" but that's because I do not play enough and do not have the opportunity to try a whole bunch of stuff! on the other hand, the wah is used sparingly, especially because of the position of the pedal. And since I bought a cry baby I used most of the wah me 70.A / D conversion: 24 bits AF method * AF method ("Adaptive Focus") This is a proprietary method from Roland & BOSS that vastly improves the signal / noise ratio (S / B) A / D converters and N / A. Has 4 assignable pedals each with many different storages all foot switchable to change effect during the same song on an additional pédale.Une same progressive pedal to make more settings (sound level or wah or effects .. Other These figures will vary depending on the actual conditions of use. Accessories Owner's Manual, Dry Batteries (Alkaline: LR6 (AA) type) x 6, Roland Service (Information Sheet) Options AC Adaptor: BOSS PSA series

What I like most about this unit is its ability to act as a number of stomp boxes in one housing, which is great if you just want to set up and recall simple effects combinations on stage, but also its ability to turn into a huge vault of presets which are easily saved and recalled. The case is really solid for two years, I have not abused badly in concert and répéition and no scratches or knobs lost! sometimes sound a little digital ca (not as ca anyway) ... a little less gain, a little bit of eq and the problem is rule!it's been almost 15 years since I played and I have had dozens of multiFX whether the line6, vox, zoom, digitech, boss, tc electronic .. etc. ... the latest being the gt10 ... I specially'm not a fan of this small but boss ME70 is almost flawless in my opinion ... I wanted to share this story, after long investigation and due diligence - I spent a month deciding what multi-effects box to buy, Digitech or Boss or what - I bought a Boss ME-70, and farkled with it for almost 3 months - getting virtually nowhere - I managed to create ONE sound I liked (Pink Floyd Shine) and saved. The rest of the time I got lots of noise out of it. Space ships, elephant farts, sure, so I spent a gaggle of hours looking on the web for some clue about where to start, patches settings, just a good starting point. I got nowhere - they just aren't available out there anywhere on the web. And the couple I found I would spend 5 minutes twirling knobs and settings and it wouldn't sound anything like the title of the supposed patch. I'm sure somebody loves the ME-70, but it ain't me. The looper is a little short I think, but given the number of opportunities available is not very serious.
