About this deal
Colonsay is a tiny and remote island two and a quarter hours by ferry from the mainland – a place of massive contrasts and stunning beauty. Produced in small batches and released only 750 bottles at a time, this is incredibly smooth and easy to drink and is perfect for creating the classic Gin and Tonic. When the hedgerows and trees grow heavy with our six ripe fruits, the croft air is full of rich, sweet, floral aromas, all detectable in the glass. Crafted in a century old copper still at Langley Distillery, using 100% British Wheat infused with six native hand foraged botanicals growing wild on our island and a further ten as the base.It is, however, still very important that you let us know of any breakages once received so we can arrange replacement wine for you as quickly as possible. Wild Island Botanic Gin is a celebration of the beauty and unique character of our island home, the Isle of Colonsay. As the first Islay Dry Gin it is truly unique, with 22 wild and hand-foraged, local herbs and flowers delicately and slowly distilled with nine classic gin botanicals.
