About this deal

A windscreen cover is fixed over your car windscreen to protect your car from frost and ice - many types can reflect sunlight to avoid sun damage too. They mention that it fits perfectly, saves time in the frosty mornings, and is great in summer as well as winter. Its innovative adjustable Fit-Fast attachment system utilises the side-view mirrors to provide a snug connection and optimum fit for vehicles of varying size.

It's made from the highest quality polyester making it durable and long-lasting - and the extra strong magnets sewn into the corners will ensure it stays firmly in place even on a windy day.I am eager to see how it performs in these more extreme conditions, especially freezing rain, which is much more difficult to scrape off the windshield than frost. The FrostGuard cannot be used on the rear window since it needs the rear-view mirrors to hold it in place. I still have to scrape the back and side windows (or wait for the car defrost to work, which I usually don’t do). They mention that the straps make the cover very easy to apply and remove from the windscreen, making it effective for a no hassle early morning frost free. Sure you can start your car then leave it to warm up to get rid of the frost, but we’re a little uncomfortable leaving our keys in the car, plus my husband prefers to just get into the car and go in the morning (as opposed to going outside to start the car and going back inside to wait).

I can’t get it off, no amount of shacking works, will I end up with a puddle of water in my back seat on the next sunny day? Designed to cover your windshield, wipers, and mirrors, these handy accessories will save you precious time and effort on chilly days. Made from four layers of material, this ultra-thick cover is temperature, tear, water and wind resistant.

The right and left sides of the FrostGuard contain a plastic rod sewn into the sides to keep the FrostGuard from losing its shape while covering your windshield. Here you can see more closely one of the plastic rods sewn into each edge to help the cover hold its shape. Open front doors and make sure the security panel is hanging inside the door frames, past the door jams.

Delk’s Frostblocker is one of the pricier choices on our list and one of the only covers to come with separate covers for the side mirrors – they shouldn’t be ignored since they weather the extremities all too often and are crucial for negotiating driveways, streets and turns safely. For northern climates, it is possible that a windy night could be accompanied by a lot of snow or freezing rain, so it is possible that some precipitation could get underneath the FrostGuard if the wind was blowing strongly enough and from the right direction. It's simple and straightforward to attach it to your car and is machine washable - as an added bonus. I first shake it to get as much off as possible, but accept the tradeoff as I did save the effort on cleaning the windshield. Installation and removal are very easy, and the elastic straps and sewn-in rigid plastic rods work to keep the FrostGuard in place on windy nights.

The only thing I dont like is the name written in large letters across the middle but that's just a personal preference and doesn't stop it working. I have wintered from Quebec (think Vermont) to Toronto (think Detroit) to Alberta (think Montana) to Vancouver (think Seattle) and never seen anything like it.
