About this deal

I'd be worried about keeping her in because horses with thrush tend to stand on their dung to "cool" the soreness and burn from thrush. If she was in 24/7 its swapping one problem for another.

Natural Fibres - to keep the other ingredient in place in cavities and to promote regrowth of healthy tissue. We have used the field paste on a couple of ponies . Had excellent results ,would most certainly recommend.”My horse is prone to hoof odour and white line degradation. For peace of mind I ensure I have Arti Mud and Hoof-Stuff to keep these problems under control.” Honey makes fantastic base for this product increasing its healing and antimicrobial powers and aiding adhesion into the hole! I have used this product and it is amazing. Easy to use and gets the job done. I have used many of your products and without hesitation, I can say they are spectacular in quality and value.” Minerals - Powerful but gentle minerals to give an ideal consistency, cleanse the area and support healthy tissues.

I love Field Paste. My pony gets very smelly feet as soon as the ground is damp. Field Paste works better than any other sprays I have bought. I have also used Artimud and Hoof-Stuff.” Brilliant stuff. Used both the paste and putty for filing in abscess holes. Once drained and clean This meant my horse could have his poultice off and his foot could breathe whilst the hole was still full protected. Turned out horse = happy horse = happy mummy!” Thank you for making such a great easy to apply and use product that actually does what it promises.. Charlie and I are very, very, grateful. Fantastic product and using currently on our heavy cob, you can almost feel my boy relax when it is applied.”

I use Field Paste 🙂 My horses live out 24/7 and using Field Paste helps keep them in excellent condition. My 43yr old mares feet look amazing!” Matt Staples DWCF LSHMC CNBBT CNBF CFGP CLS CE Director and certified member of the equine lameness prevention organisation, UK Farrier

Eucalyptus oil – as well as being an effective antimicrobial, this essential oil assists in the toughening of weakened structures. It's not sheared heels, but it is a significant thrush infection (and a very long foot! that is an exceptional amount of growth for 5 weeks) Storm’ an 8 year old eventer was stopping at even very small fences for no apparent reason after previously having been a reliable jumping horse. Vets, farriers and multiple instructors had failed to identify the problem. We recommend flushing with Sole Cleansebut anything ‘gentle’ will suffice e.g. salt water, dilute vinegar etc. Avoid flushing with iodine, peroxide, bleaches etc. as these may damage otherwise healthy tissues. Also, both fronts have red concussion marks on the outer wall. From the way the wall tubules are laying, that is likely from a low heel long toe growth pattern, which causes the hoof wall matrix to ‘squish’ at the outer quarters, causing the red marks. The placement of the marks could have been caused when he was shod, but depending on hoof growth-speed, that may have happened just as shoes were taken off, and the hoof had more flexibility.Hoof-Stuff is advised for use in deeper, tighter cavities in the hooves. With shallower holes Artimud is advised instead. I also use Artimud under pads …it creates a healthy environment and the feet look fantastic at the end of the shoeing cycle” Red Horse is one of only 3 non feed/supplement products that we (Thunderbrook) sell, as we use most of the Red Horse products on our own herd. Field Paste is a firm favourite.” It’s sometimes a job of weighing up pro’s and cons’ trimming a hoof, and its easy to get it wrong if you under-estimate the severity of thrush for example.
